Yesterday I participated in a group gardening project. Only it wasn't truly gardening - rather, it was the deconstruction of a garden. I, and many other classmates, helped to pull up the final remains of a fading garden on our local campus. The people running it generously let us take what we desired. A couple people quickly scrambled towards the baby tomatoes and kale.The rest of us took the brightly colored flowers. Unfortunately, I did not have my camera with me yesterday, so I was unable to get pictures of all the work we did. However, I took many flowers home and did a little photo-shoot for them on my front porch (no, you won't get to see them).
I have to say it was more fun than I expected it to be.
